Microphone input not able to get detect under Windows 7

I have a desktop machine and it is been installed with Windows 7. The problem is that my microphone is not able to get detect the device well under the system and work as needed. It is a huge problem that I am now facing. Please do help me out so that I can make the changes to be functioned. It is necessary. Hope to get a better solution it will be better.

It could be that the device is not able to work or get sync well with the device or the system and this the reason you are not able to work well or process for the thing.
