Razer Carcharias Not working on my computer but working on another

So i just bought this new sweet headset Razer Carharias. i take it out the package. plug it in and test it.... only the right earcup in my headset is working on my computer. i tried unplugging it and sticking it in my mac and there both earcups are working just fine... has this something to do with some wrong sound options i have configured? im really confused... noob in need of help here
forgot to add: the headset is somehow for some reason set as a speaker under my settings if that has anything to do with it

What is your Operating system ? Windows Xp or Vista ? Also make sure plugging it in another jack, front or behind. Sometimes this problem occurs due to the jacks as well even if we had all the settings and configurations proper. So, go ahead and check in another jack and reply again with your operating system.

Try to connect the phone to the backend jack of the cpu. You nay then be abel to plug it and make the device to function well. It will be better for you to get the issue ti be sorted. I hope it will be better for you and make the change well. So do look out for the thing. I hope it will help.
