EK-Water Blocks for the 5770 graphics cards.

My uncle has told me to check some water blocks for the 5770 graphics cards which he is owning. He is having Radeon HD 5770 in his system. Now frankly speaking I am not having much knowledge about the water blocks. When talked with some friends I came to know that EK-Water Blocks are better for the 5770 graphics cards. Still I thought to take some suggestions from you guys (experts). So I am waiting for your responses.!! Hoping that someone would provide some help faster.

DirectX 11 and comes with the ATI HD-5770 is currently the cheapest move successfully into the new dimension of graphics. With an appropriate cooling and overclocking these inexpensive graphics cards are a good amount to elicit performance, which must result in the use of water even in an increased volume. EK Water Blocks offers to this effect to a suitable heatsink, with its flat design of GPU, RAM and voltage converter, and thus covers all the primary sources of heat cools reliable. As usual, has the massive copper soil wide channels for optimum flow, the narrow right above the graphics chip to dissipate the heat of the main heat source for best results.

The heat sink for the voltage converters on the other hand is made of aluminum and is simply screwed to the primary heat sink. It can therefore be removed if necessary. The cover is in this version of white polyoxymethylene (POM) or acetal. This is a thermoplastic material that is not attacked by bases, organo-metallic reagents and common reducing agents. He it is characterized by high stiffness, low coefficient of friction and excellent stability. The seal between the lid and copper heat sink made of a durable ring.

To install the water block the following notes would be useful. While the GPU is used for a conventional thermal compound (not included!), Which provide between RAM chips and voltage transformers as well as cooler and cooler supplied thermal pads for the effective transfer of heat. They can even cut and thus be adapted to your requirements, providing a high level of compatibility. The cooler is screwed by the video card back. Through the existing four holes (1 / 4 inch) hoses from both sides can be brought to the cooler, whereby the respectively used sealed with threaded plugs attached. Through this arrangement, the connection of multiple graphics cards in a CrossFire composite is facilitated.

The now established manufacturers EK-Water Blocks has also produced again in a familiar high quality cooler for the 5770 graphics cards. The well-milled copper cooler with Plexideckel captivate with excellent detailed solutions such as very expensive crafted shoes or logo engraved directly on the Plexiglas cover. Block is mounted with screws M3 screws. The cooling principle itself provides with wide canals and meandering channel gradients for excellent flow rates. A built-in cooler for the voltage converter completes the whole thing towards the top. This allows for stable operation at extreme summer temperatures, high Overclocking - potential and low noise at once. This cooler is designed for highest demands. The support surface of the cooler is flat and polished. The seal between the acetal and copper heat sink made of a durable form of customized ring.

For the inclusion into the cooling circuit connections are required that do not belong to delivery. Similarly, thermal paste is to purchase separately, which is necessary to establish contact between the cooler and graphics card. Also, be sure that the cooler only for ATI graphics cards of the type 5770 is suitable in reference design! Please check the compatibility before buying the video card on the manufacturer's website. The original radiator should be removed before the assembly, which the manufacturer's warranty expires!
