    Cannot Enable Dynamic Hard Disk

    Hello all,

I recently just installed Window 7. I cannot enable one of my hard drive. I was able to see the drive when I just finish installing the OS. I went to disk management it shows this

and right-clicking on the drive shows this

When I try to convert it to Basic or GTPS, it says "The operation is not allowed on a disk that is offline" and clicking offline and online does nothing. The drive have the latest driver installed and device status is "This device is working properly."

run: diskpart shows that Disk 2 is not even detected.

Hope you can help me. Thanks

Re: Cannot Enable Dynamic Hard Disk

You might need to change your hard drive power cable. Check that by touching whether you can feel vibrating movement. If not then your hard drive is detected but it is not spinning. Just change the power cable and then check back again. The other thing is that you must first check the drive on a different computer whether it is working or not.
