    HP Pavillion G60 Charging Problem

I recently bought an HP Pavillion G60. I am having a problem with the battery . When I plug the power cable , my battery indicator says " Connected , not support ' short I can not charge the battery. At the back of your laptop , where is the battery , there is an " flip " which serves to pull the battery . Just drag the " flip " to the right in order to remove the battery. Leave your laptop for 1 to 2 minutes without turning the battery then put it back in its holder. How can I solve this issue? Thank for your answers.

If the computer fails to start suddenly more correctly , you are advised to start perform a hard reset .

    1. Disconnect all external devices and remove all USB devices and multimedia cards . You want to test the computer , not the accessories that are related .
    2. Disconnect adapter, remove the battery and hold the power button down for at least 15 seconds .
    3. Reconnect AC adapter (but do not connect the battery) press the power button , looking LED lights flashing near key CAPS LOCK. and NUM . and listen any noise emitted by the disk drive and fan .

Re: HP Pavillion G60 Charging Problem

A defective battery and not configured to be fully charged by the AC adapter may prevent starting when the computer is powered only by battery . Similarly, if the adapter is defective, the battery will not charge properly. To verify that the battery provides power to the computer , connect the adapter to the computer when it is turned off and let the battery charge for at least 30 minutes. Then, assuming the battery is charged , disconnect the AC adapter and press the button / Off .

If the computer starts , you are advised to perform the test battery, HP Battery test, and calibrate the battery ( for XP or 7 for Windows Vista ) performances.Si to improve the computer still does not start , and if you have one battery from another identical computer , try using another battery fully charged again to perform this test . Then , if the computer starts and works normally with the replacement battery , you have identified the source of the problem. Contact HP to order a new battery.
