    best pc configuration for an IT Student


    Hello Everyone,
    I am Rahman. I am studying IT first year. I am a freshmen to IT. I want to buy a desktop which fulfills all the needs for an IT student like large storage, graphic cards..etc. I am totally confused about what to buy?. I am willing to pay good price for a best configuration. i want the latest one also. Kindly give me your suggestions like brand, hardware configuration...etc.

    Just answer these questions.
    Approx purchase date -
    Budget range -
    System usage from most to least importan -
    Parts not required -
    Overclocking - (yes/no/may be)
    Sli or Crossfire - (yes/no/may be)
    comments -

    Thanks for your kind information. Actually i use pc for programming, web designing, multimedia editing, networking, animation...etc. i can afford a good value for a computer which can run the above programs and i want the latest one i.e from core2duo

    budget please?, i cannot start without budget.
    Also, if programming etc is all you are going to do then ur rig wont b costly.
    Also please include the parts that u dont want, like monitor, printer, speakers etc.
    Btw, c2d is history now, but would do for your rig.

    My budget is US700 to US1000. I need the parts that usually a pc has like monitor, speaker, mouse, keyboard...etc. i want 2-4 GB ram, 250-500 GB hard disk, 1 GB graphic card.....
