Connecting Logitech X-530 speakers to TV flatscreen

I bought a flat screen Sony Bravia LCD KDL-40 U25 102cm. After correctly connected the Logitech X-530 speakers to the TV but it does not work. Can you tell me the exact steps and the types of cables to be used by starting from the flat panel to the amplifier and power amplifier to the speakers (2 front, 2 rear and 1 center) and subwoofer.Thank in advance.

It is not fact the output of your TV you can put a adapter that allows you just to have two RCA output (red and white) female on which you plug your RCA and the other end you put a jack for your speakers The benefit of this type of install is that everything that passes by the TV will sit by the speakers. For your case if I am not mistaken your kit enclosure needs to be amplified that a computer doing very well but not a TV.

To connect your speakers to your amplifier, it is sufficient to prepare five-speaker cable (if you have five speakers, if not two stereo cable, 6 cable 6.1 with 6 speakers for 7.1 or 7 with 7 speakers, it does not count subwoofer that connects to another socket). Ideally the cable 2.5 mm for a center speaker, one for right speaker, one for the front left speaker, one for the left rear speaker, and one for the rear speaker and right strip each conductor about 1cm and then twist the strands of the stripped portion (To avoid short circuits). Then just loosen each terminal and insert the bare end of each cable.

This analog input consists of 6 RCA plugs (5.1) for connecting an external decoder to remain scalable with future format. On some old amps A / V decoders free, it is possible to still enjoy the Dolby Digital or DTS. By connecting this part to the analog output 5.1 (6 RCA) with a DVD decoder DTS / Dolby Digital integrated via 6 RCA cables.

To see the sound on your speakers, it'll have your TV is equipped with an audio output. What is not obvious. Indeed it may be a headphone output. In this case, there are two solutions. Either the output format is "mini-jack" is in fact the 3.5mm jack. (As on the walkman). At this point you simply plugs. Either it's the biggest jack (remember the size), and you need an adapter. Your TV may also be equipped with audio output RCA (red and white). In which case you need a jack to RCA adapter. Today it is rare that someone is using a TV without receiver, decoder, etc. ... (Except cable). If you have this kind of device, they are almost all with RCA audio output. So here it will connect your speakers.

The TV sound is stereo so no DTS or DD, there is no digital output, and because there is no signal in 6 channels. By cons connect an audio system for PC is possible in stereo and the sound is often still , Better than the sound that is emitted by the loudspeaker on TV except for very rare models. To connect an audio system with 2.0 or 2.1 it suffices to connect the audio output, this on some TV, see leaflet on the entrance of the audio system.

If you branch your speakers on your TV without going through the stereo, the sound is almost inaudible because the TV is not an amp. Do not confuse an amplifier, which amplifies the sound, and speakers who only play sound amplified by the amplifier. It's best to go through your channel mode AUX.
