Wireless Logitech mouse with NO connect button

Hello people, I have bough a Logitech wireless mouse which worked fine for few days but now it does not connect to the receiver and hence I cannot use the mouse. Later I noticed that there is no connect button to the wireless mouse and now I think that the mouse is faulty. So if anybody here knows how to connect the mouse to the receiver, please suggest the required steps. Thanks in advance.

Yes there could be some manufacturing defect in the mouse itself as there is no connect button on the mouse. There should a connect button on the mouse to connect it to the wireless receiver. Take the mouse to the dealer and get it replaced. After replacing the mouse, see if it connects to the receiver or not.

Check the battery of the mouse which you are trying to connect to the wireless receiver. The batteries of the mouse should have enough charge in them for getting connected to the wireless receiver. If the battery is low on charge, it will not get detected by the wireless receiver. Therefore either charge the battery or change the battery and then connect it to the wireless receiver.

Sometimes the drivers for the wireless mouse stop functioning while the computer is on. If such situation occurs then the system will not be able to detect the wireless mouse. To solve such situation, you will have to restart the computer and then try to connect the mouse to the wireless receiver again. Hope it works.

Thanks for suggesting the troubleshooting procedure which really helped in connecting the mouse to the computer. The problems was with the drivers of the wireless receiver which were not loading on startup of the computer. Disconnecting and then connecting the receiver solved the problem.
