Where to get an 880 Harmony Remote USB Cable

I want to add a 880 Harmony universal remote to my system. I had got this from my friend. The remote look awesome with lots of buttons on it. I have the software disc for the for the same. I am using Windows Vista right now. But I had lost the usb cable of this remote. Where can I get a proper cable for the remote. How to configure this remote properly to a system. What device does this supports.

You can use any usb cable for that. Just checkout the specification for that. There is a firewire type cable connector which supports this remote. It is common on Amazon. You can order one from there. Many digital cameras cable also support the remote. You can connect the same and try out. You have to look for a 5 pin usb cable on one side and a usb 2.0 support at the other end.

Logitech, a specialist in computer accessory offers a collection of remote control that is common to operate via a software configuration online. A USB connection allows for a dialogue as to identify the identity the system and use it with each. The best thing I will suggest you for this is to look on the officail site of Logitech and enter the accessories section.

The remote works via a software configuration which allows both to download all the IR codes for launching everything with the remote. You can also setup up activities like watching TV, DVD, playing a video game, etc. It is easy to configure the same. All you need to look for a small usb port connection cable for this. There are lots of sites provide the same.

The H880 allows you to use around 15 devices. So this shows that the remote is quiet flexible to use. It is important to list specific brands of devices and references which is mentioned in the manual. Do not panic in case of doubt about the exact reference, a list of products is offered in case of doubt, confirm by an exchange of infrared codes. You can also manually connect.
