    17” LG Flatron E700s Monitor

I am planning to buy 17” LG Flatron E700s Monitor. Is there a better monitor in the market within 10 K.

I actually need a 17” monitor with resolution of 1280 x 1024 @ 75 Hz or above but since I cannot find one, I am settling for the above one. If you know of such a monitor, please let me know, where can I buy it? Its warranty period and its price if possible. I don’t want to go for View Sonic as its site does not have one for India so I don’t think they have officially come to India so I am not so sure about their support. Otherwise I will have to run this monitor at a lower resolution of 1024 x 800.

    Thanks,
    Shyam

I got New Montior yesterday..thats Samsung 793MB (Magic Bright)..got it for 8.4K..Resolution is just like other traditional 17" inches flat..but it offers many features. But i have to say the color quality on this monitor is amazing..earlier i was using BenQ 17" flat CRT..(sold it for 3.5K)..it wasnt good ..i mean it flickers a lot...picture wasnt quite sharp and text color was like grey...not jet black

Also to mention that this new model is very slim and narrow..it doesnt occupy lot of space and viewable area is 16.1 rather than 16.00 (measured with inch tape)...

here's a link of that monitor.

The monitor is a great one but I think you have paid around 400-500 bucks more
I bought the very same model in September at 8,100/- bucks. Looking at the trend in IT industry the prices of any product usually fall with time and as I bought mine around a month and a half back you should have got this monitor at around 7,900 to 8,000/-.
I can't say anything if the prices have actually risen but that seems highly unlikely to me ...

Go for E700S quality of builtin gr8 and much better than samsung 793 MB.The LG E700SH comes with Magic Bright.I m using it since 2 months.
Viewsonic E70FSB is better option too.
