    SATA and IDE hard disk

I need a motherboard Gigabyte GA-8IK1100, this has two SATA ports and two ide. On the first SATA connector I have a hard drive from Seagate Barracuda 120Gb, in a secondary IDE CD burner and a DVD. En el IDE primario intento instalar un disco Seagate Medalist de 6,4 Gb. In the attempt to install a primary IDE disk Seagate Medalist 6.4 Gb.
The bios on the hard disk SATA me what passes automatically to the primary ide as a teacher, and it works wonderfully, but if I install another hard drive, I recognized this as the primary and tertiary as SATA, but when you install an operating system does not recognize the two discs. I Provado almost everything, but if I am a hard drive the other does not. I have already gone crazy, I've changed all the options of master-slave, boot routines, configuration of hard disks by hand ...

    thank you very much.

When you install hard drives in IDE and SATA RAID have to be configured, make sure you have everything configured properly.

I advise that when you install your system in any of 2 Disks only working with a single off and then install your system .. connect the disk to another manually and it recognize automatically.

check the jumper settings, and configures the boot Boot: SATA or IDE disk.
