Oh...i have used both brands Samsung & LG...Color quality on Samsungs are much better than LG.....Samsung uses DNIe technology which is latest and LG technology is very old..here's a link to know more about DNIe

hello play_safe.. i have LG FLATRON E700SH, but unfortunately i could not find anything regarding this model of LG in the internet. Yes there is E700S but where is E700SH? i have doubt if it is not a real monitor from LG. I have a feeling this E700SH is a fake monitor. Please give me some info. if u have any. I'm real upset.

i think there is only E700S, E700SH must be a typo . . .

The monitor is verymuch available and i am using it yes the lg site doesnt have any information, about this product this monitor this nothing but E700 with magic bright technology. its a good monitor better than samsung 763MB
in terms of picture quality. Its costs around 8200 in mumbai.

I ditched my samsung 753s(**** if u ask me) for a philips 107e5 and so far i am happy with my choice.Colour reproduction is excellent.AND BTW ON A 17" SCREEN ANY RES OVER 1024*768 IS OVERKILL.Unless u need higher res for gaming/graphics ,1024*768 at 85hz is just fine.And its only 5280 for a black piece,thats what i call sweet.
And btw no CRT is perfect,unless u r lucky there will always b an edge not perfectly aligned,a corner thats not perfect....

E700s is a good option too..im using it w/o probs for over 1 year

i have LG 700E 17'' monitor when i turn it OFF,then one green spot comes in center of screen. will it create problem in future....

Please start a new thread rather than bumping year 2004 posts.
As for your problem, please give us more details like when did you start getting this problem? Is this a new monitor or an old one? If it is an old monitor then it might be time for you to get a new one.
