Connection Problem with the Logitech Harmony 1100

I just open my remote and I cannot work it I am unable to connect it to the internet for the purpose of update. It only displays the message that disable the firewall my operating system is window vista 64 bit.
I have already turn off the firewall but not getting any result the other security features I am having is the internet security setting and the user account control but I have no idea how to turn these two OFF. Can anybody help me for connecting this Logitech Harmony 1100?

The only thing I can suggest is to check the network connections after connecting the remoter and if you are able to see it then you need to disable that because the computer system is seeing that as the Ethernet connection. This may be one of the reasons for losing the internet connection. I have not observed this on any of the operating system. I am sure that this will definitely help you.
