    I have a Toshiba l355d-s7815 and having difficulty with cddvdw. When I verify the properties in device manager I get the following. Windows cannot start this hardware apparatus for the reason that its arrangement information in sequence (in the registry) is incomplete or smashed. If I uninstall the drive from the device manager and reboot the system where it be able to get the device's driver or it mechanically identify the device or be supposed to I go that web site and eliminate it from the registry.

I have tried the whole thing imaginable and even contacted Toshiba regarding it. I got the runaround=d and no return call from there. I have thought regarding going to Windows XP but I am not certain how your system determine to act in view of the fact that it was designed for Vista.
