Is that true, you have found the solution for the internal microphone issue which many people are facing. I am also one of then. Recently i had upgraded my Toshiba laptop and installed the driver software also. But the microphone is not getting detected by the laptop device manager. It is listed there but not working at all. So share it over here. It will really help lots of people.

Re: Possibly found fix for internal microphone issue in Windows 7

I am having the Toshiba Satellite A505-S6965 laptop and was facing the microphone issue with the Windows 7 operating system after the upgrade. I solved it by myself. Here the procedure what i did to resolve this Microphone issue of the laptop.
  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Click on Hardware and Sound
  3. Under Sound, click Manage Audio Devices
  4. Go to the Recording tab

There you will find the two Microphone icons.
  1. Front Panel 3.5 mm Jack
  2. ATAPI Internal ATAPI Jack

Disable the Front Panel 3.5 mm Jack Microphone input by right clicking on it. After that the internal mic will start working properly.

I am also having the same kind of the internal microphone issue with my Iball laptop which has the Windows 7 operating system install. I have tried the above mentioned solution to resolve this issue but it is not resolved. In fact this laptop is not having the any of the input audio device listed. So provide some suggestion to resolve this issue.
