Hp Printer Error : Remove and check black cartridge

Hi,

I have a problem with my HP 2350 Multifunction printer, it worked correctly and today there is an error message that appears ischeck and remove your color cartridge. USB port is plugged in bios but nothing works. I also turned and reinstalled the printer driver to no avail, so if someone can suggest me a solution. I have operating system windows xp.

Try the following steps :

- Remove the cartridge.
- Turn off the printer and close the hatch.
- Turn on the printer: it seeks to put a cartridge: put the old cartridge.
- A warning said it is nearing completion.
- Follow this procedure when the usual change of cartridge.

Reset the Hp Printer : Follow these steps to reset the device.

1. Press the Power button To turn the device off. NOTE: It is possible that pressing the power button will not quench the device. If this happens, go anyway in the next step.
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the device.
3. Unplug the power cord from the outlet, and wait 30 seconds.
4. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
5. Plug the power cord to the back of the device.
6. Press the Power button, to turn the device on.

Make sure the cartridge is compatible with the product, to check the compatibility of cartridges for your product, go to HP SureSupply. To identify the cartridge in a language other than English, the language, click the link next to the globe icon on the upper right corner of your browser. If the cartridge is not compatible with the product, replace the cartridge.

This a bug with hp printer. There is an update that prevents a mistake you can make the cartridges unusable. If the cartridge has already failed, download and install this update from the hp website then try to fix the problem. The HP product software should be installed before installing this update. If the product software is not installed, install it now.

If the error message indicates that a specific cartridge is the issue, Check cartridges for tears when the flexible printed circuit wrapped around the bottom of the cartridge. If you find tears, try inserting a new cartridge with great care so that that particular area does not rub against anything. You can also try cleaning the cartridge contacts the pads again. HP does not recommend the use of alcohol, but I have tried with success. Ensure that you are careful to only clean the contact pads.

I had the same problem and after trying all the suggestions in this thread, I also cleaned the contacts in the bays, ink cartridges residence. After an impression of the starting lineup and a couple of more Remove "and check cartridge" error, which seems to be working now.
