Need information on Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA cooler

I am having a EVGA 01G-P3-1280-AR GeForce GTX 280 and now it is critically overheating whenever I play games and I am in a desperate need to find a cooler for it so I can play Fallout 3. Because I am unable to play this game for more than 10 minutes.

I am wainting for the Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA Cooler from a long time now and they are at last available for pre-order. But now I am thinking that it will better to have the Thermalright GTX 280 in place of Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA Cooler. For that I need suggestions.

I will suggest you to wait for the Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA Cooler because it is a grand. Using Thermalright GTX 280 in place of Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA Cooler will be a stupidity and in comparision this Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX 280 VGA cooler is better.

Till you do not use the EVGA Precision Tool for adjusting the fans they spins at most 35 % of time, but using this utility you can make use of it till 60 % to 100 %. I am giving this suggestion to you because I use my fan upto 100% before I start to play the game and after that it comes to 60%. If I am doing some literal work or simple work I push the fan to 35%. This will help you and will save your money of buying any extra cooler for you system.

Your reply was good of using the EVGA Precision Tool for adjusting the fans speed, but I will better go for the Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX280. Because one of my friend was having the same problem and he has bought the Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX280 and now the temperature of his system is down a lot. It is fine if you are going for Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME GTX280 cooler than it is fine but I want to bring one thing in your notice that Artic Cooler Accelero Xtreme GTX 280 cooler will consume three slots. If you have the room for that then you can definitely for that but if you don’t then there is a matter for your concern
