How to make hard drive faster

    Hi all,

I know the physical structure of the hard disk platter. Partitions and formatted the hard disk is based on sectors as the basic unit, a partition is formed by a number of sectors. What is a sector that does? We all know that the disk is rotating at work, and its stored information is based on a series of concentric circles recorded in its surface, each concentric circle is called a track. How to make hard drive smooth and faster? Please suggest.

The operating system installed on C drive, and to Maxthon, Foxmail, MSN, QQ, FlashGet, Super Rabbit, players, software, and a number of plug-in software commonly used small-scale software installed on the C drive. If you are using, such as Microsoft Office-like large-scale software, they should be installed to the C drive. Of course, since we will not use all the features of them, so that a useful part of the custom installation to save disk space C! And then the virtual memory settings to the D drive (only a temporary) and then use the system built-in Disk Fragmentation to speed up the C drive. Check and reply.

Use the "Microsoft Registry optimization master" sort of system, modify the software to "My Documents", "Internet cache", "Internet History", "Favorites" so often like to write, delete the folder action set to D drive up as far as possible to avoid the other partition with disk fragmentation and reduce the hard drive performance. All the best.

How to make hard drive faster

The virtual memory set to a fixed value is already a universal "truth", and it is only right to do so, but the vast majority of people are setting it to the C drive is located outside the non-system partition, and its value is more than the physical Memory 2-3 times. Most people think that the higher the better performance of the system, run faster! But this is not the case, because the system more dependent on virtual memory- if the virtual memory larger, the system will be in physical memory, there is a lot of free space when to start using virtual memory, and those who have less than still stranded in the physical memory, and this will inevitably lead to a decline in memory performance. All the best.

If you are using Windows XP , you can download the "MagnaRAM 2002" to optimize the physical memory and virtual memory, so better! In addition, I suggest you do not re-use the so-called memory optimization and order the software. The vast majority of cases, we run the software are usually of the software "shortcut" to be done, increasing the hard disk to install the software more and more, there are a lot of friends like to think of all the desktop shortcuts , so that will not only enable you dazzled, and the system performance will decline, but will result in excessive system resources occupied system becomes unstable, so you should better put a shortcut on the desktop control in 10 or so, the other fast could enable the whole into the Start menu and quick launch bar, but all the software the "Uninstall" shortcut to delete in order to improve system performance. Also, try not to duplicate existing shortcut. All the best.

Are talking about here refers to the safety class software, real-time anti-virus software and firewalls. Such software on the system resources and CPU resources, the occupation is very large (some as high as 30% or more), if you do not often on the website, then there is no need to use such software. Than on the CPU overclocking can be practical, much simpler. All the best.
