Error Code 654c:041c in DELL desktop 5150

I cant figure out what is causing such problems and hence need your help in solving the issue. Therefore if any of you know what does Error Code 654c:041c in DELL desktop 5150 mean then please share some information about it which might help me in solving the issue. Re: Error Code 654c:041c in DELL desktop 5150

When some applications are installed on the computer, they tend to use some files of the operating system. If such an application is uninstalled, the files of the operating system which are used by the application are also removed from the computer which makes the operating system unstable and hence the computer is not booting. Therefore you can install the applications which are uninstalled from the computer and see if the computer is working properly or not.

There are certain applications in which the coding is not done properly. Due to improper coding the executable file of the application takes up lot of memory and CPU usage. Therefore if such an application is installed on the computer then, a lot of memory and CPU power is wasted which degrades the performance of the computer. To see which application is taking up lot of memory and CPU usage, open the task manager and go to processes. Check the memory and CPU usage of all the processes. Terminate all the processes which are taking up lot of memory and CPU usage. See if the performance of the computer has improved or not.

By looking at the problem, it is clear that the operating system on the computer is not working properly and hence you will have to repair or reinstall the operating system on the computer. There are lot of files which are associated to the operating system. If any of the files which is associated to the operating system gets corrupt or is missing on the computer then the operating system will not work properly. If you have the installation disk, insert it in the drive and boot the system from the installation disk. Select Repair the Windows installation option and let the procedure complete. Once the procedure is complete, check if the PC works properly or not.

Re: Error Code 654c:041c in DELL desktop 5150

Usually the loud beeping sound indicates that the system is not able to access the system memory. All the files which are needed to boot the operating system are first copied to the RAM of the computer. If the system is not able to access the system memory then the files which are required to boot the operating system will not be copied on the RAM and hence the operating system wont boot. Therefore open the computer and remove the RAM chips of the computer. Clean the connecting terminals and then replace it again in their respective slots. If there are multiple slots then try booting the system using Single RAM chip at a time. If for a particular RAM chip the system does not boot then discard the RAM chip as it may be faulty.

Probably the motherboard of the computer is faulty and hence you are facing such problems with the computer. Motherboard of the computer is responsible for controlling all the functions of the computer. All the peripherals are connected to the motherboard of the computer. Therefore if the motherboard of the computer is faulty then the computer will not work properly. I would suggest that you get the motherboard of the computer checked by some technician. If the motherboard of the computer is not working properly then replace the motherboard and see if the problem is solved
