unable to send fax from outlook 2007

Dear Russ

Win fax & scan is the same for Vista and win7, isn't it?

the problem i have is that I cannot attach a tif file or a pdf file to a fax sent through outlook 2007 as I successfully do with win XP + outlok 2003! it starts working then "unexpected error"....

The Fax works by its own fine but I want to send the faxes through outlook because this way I can send it at once both to email recipients and to fax recipients.

any clue before I return to good old XP?

you have informed that you were able to Fax while it was attached to your Windows XP running system, and now the fax is not responding to your system which is running Windows Vista or other system running Windows 7. It is possible that you must have not installed the Fax machine correctly to the system. Uninstall the Fax completely from your system by uninstalling it from the Device Manager and then reconnect it to the system. Add new fax which is connected to the system and installed the drivers. Make sure that you are installing the right drivers. Windows Vista driver for your Vista running system and Windows 7 driver for your Windows 7 running system. Once you are done with these few steps, restart your computer and check whether you are still facing the problem or not.
