My Ethernet onboard card s not working properly!!!!!!!!?

hi... thz s suresh.... my mother board model s Intel D945GCL... my Ethernet card s not working properly. sometimes it s working. but most of the time it s not working. so, i gave my motherboard for service but no use still the same problem occurring .... can anyone suggest me the solution for my problem... thanks in advance..

i tried with reinstalling the network card software... but no use....n i forgot say one thg....... the green light on Ethernet card plug s not glowing too...
the Ethernet lamp s not glowing. then how can i do such things

As per your issue let me tell you that if your device is under the warranty period then repair it with the help of the Intel only. Try to install the driver for the Ethernet LAN once again from the Motherboard CD or download the latest driver from internet. Also if all the above is not working then you have plug in a PCI Express LAN Card which will allow you the connection with the same.

Basically it is not necessary that the issue could be with the hardware. There is a possibility that the operating system may not be able to cope well. It depends on that too. Which operating system do you use. Check for the ailments that may be required to get the issue to be sorted. Service it to the manufacturer.
