Webcam not working of the Acer AspireRevo 3610 desktop

I am having the Acer AspireRevo 3610 desktop which comes with the inbuilt webcam. This desktop initially loaded with the Windows 7 operating system. Recently i have downgraded the operating system of this desktop from Windows 7 to the Windows Vista. This desktop is working properly except the webcam. The webcam is not working of Acer AspireRevo 3610 desktop in Windows Vista operating system.

You have mentioned in your query that this desktop has the inbuilt webcam and this webcam is not working. I have checked the details of this Acer AspireRevo 3610 desktop and this desktop does not come with the inbuilt webcam. However you have got the additional webcam with this desktop at the time of purchasing this desktop. So i will advise you to install the driver disc of this webcam and install the driver software for the Windows Vista operating system.

You have not mentioned that which webcam you are using with your Acer AspireRevo 3610 desktop. However if you are not having the driver disc of this webcam compatible with the Windows Vista operating system then you should update the driver software of the webcam from the device manager of the desktop system. In device manger right click on the webcam and select the update driver software option, after the installation reboot the computer system.

If the system is not able to install the compatible webcam driver software for the Windows Vista operating system by the device manger then you will have to download the driver software compatible with the Windows Vista operating system from the website of the manufacturer of the webcam. As you have not mentioned the brand of the webcam that you are having, go to the website of the webcam manufacturer and download the driver software.
