Need information on Samsung Spinpoint F3

Hi,
I had purchased a Samsung Spinpoint F3 500GB Hard drive recently. Before that I was using the same series of hard drive but a bit older F1 version. I am looking for the difference between the performance of this both drive. What this new F3 gives out in comparison to the older one. Does the same is available in higher capacity also.
