How to fix hardware issue in Mac

If there is any hardware related issue in mac then how to catch and fix that. I had found some old mac computer which are working with hardware problems. like if I connect a printer or any other hard drive then the same is not detected many times. I am not able to get information on the same. Does the port or derive issue is there.

If you are having the SCSI which is not so important, you might desire to unplug the SCSI wire after powering down then after a few second restart it. The SCSI wire is an important wire at least as thick as the power wire you have to attach it in a 25 pin connector on the rear of your Mac noticeable by a disk drive icon. If you have currently added a new SCSI device, you be supposed to be aware that every peripheral added to the SCSI bus should be having a exceptional ID address number that is frequently set by a switch on the back of all the peripheral device itself.

The one of the important things is that you should make sure that there should be no double or similar IDs and also that there is a terminator plug which is fixed on the last item in the chain except on the inside terminated. A superior rule of thumb is to have the maximum ID numbers assigned to the best ever peripherals. If you have them or can have access to or buy some, try fresh, short, high property (thick, gold-plated connectors) cables.

In most of the time if you are receiving a chain of SCSI devices to run is a black art of trial and inaccuracy. Be convinced that you never have two devices in a chain that are together on the inside terminated. Sometimes modifying the device order or provisionally deleting items in the chain can help. The total length of the collective SCSI cables is supposed to not be over twenty feet.

If you can effectively or capable to restart from a floppy, for the time of first you can try the Disk First Aid on Apple's protected bootable efficacy disk. If the agenda terminates with a miscalculation message, try working for a second time, immediately in case. If this is not satisfactory you can then try your preferred disk doctor, also from a locked bootable floppy.
