Can not find printer driver - Canon Pixma iP3000

Hello friends,
I don't know whether it is right place or not. I recently bought a cool new laptop which has Windows 7 Premium installed. I also have Canon Pixma ip3000 printer, but I unable to connect it to my laptop. My laptop doesn't show this printer in list. I tried to choose USB virtual port and then searching or the latest printers, but I unable to find there. I don't know why I can not find printer driver of Canon Pixma iP3000. Please help me.

From your information it seems that you haven't installed drivers of your Canon Pixma iP3000 printer in your computer and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case you have to first install drivers of your computer to fix this problem. To download drivers of your printer just click on following link: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...&modelid=10238.
First select your Operating system and then download drivers of printer. Now install this drivers in your computer and restart your computer. After this you will able to connect your printer to computer.

As per my information Microsoft provides Windows 7 printer driver for your iP3000 printer as part of Windows 7. It also provides Windows update and includes all the necessary files. Just use following steps to fix this problem.
To install drivers of your printer, connect your printer to the computer -> now switch on printer -> now your Windows 7 will detect the printer and the driver will be installed automatically(For this you must have internet connection) -> if your computer unable to detect your printer, just disconnect printer from your computer -> switch off your computer and after some times again turn on your computer-> now again connect printer and switch on printer.

I also had the same problem. I tried various method but none of them worked out. Then one day I download Windows XP drivers and installed in my computer and after that I able to connect my Canon Pixma iP3000 printer to my PC. I think Windows XP drivers with 32 & 64 bit versions will work with Vista and Windows 7. In my PC I have use Windows 64bit IP3000 driver and it is working fine. I think you also have to use these drivers to fix this problem.

It seems that there is some problem in your printer's drivers. They may be get corrupted or get damaged and that's why you are getting such type of problem. In this case you have to update your printer's driver to fix this problem. You can do this in following ways.
First right click on "My computer" -> then go properties option-> now go to device manager and look out for your printer -> now right click on your printer option and update drivers of your printer.
