    Printer driver update in snow leopard

    I want to connect a hp printer to snow leopard and configure sharing on the same. The printer will be used by a software to print some graphs. I had installed successfully the software and need some further steps. First what to do for the printer driver. How should I update the time in snow and what are the pdf options available for text copying. For surfing I have safari does this a reliable browser on surfing heavy flash sites.
