HP Pavilion DV-9849 BLACK SCREEN

My PC HP Pavilion DV9849 Just give up the ghost. "BLACK SCREEN"

All the lights seem to work and only the screen stays silent! Even connecting a monitor on the VGA AC still does not work. The problem is the Nvidia graphics card 8600 who has ceased to function. HP is the assembly of the microphone and therefore liable for hidden defects on their machines such as the Pavilion . This graphics card is recognized as defective and serial , So any micro with this card is subject to failure almost assured. The overheating problem is recurring but not the real problem.

Normally HP should take this series in its list but it's certainly calculate that the guarantee of 1 year 6 months to completely vice should be completed by December this year. Is this the reason why this product does not appear in their list ? wait does this guarantee that they should, some way, and never exceeded intervene for free? as provided by law?

Any ideas?

Re: Pavilion DV-9849 BLACK SCREEN

There are some steps to take if you have not already done: Call HP with your serial number S/N and P/N .

At the voice message, type 1 (3 times in total) even if your equipment is out of warranty. You try to negotiate support for your hardware and MOSTLY you request a No Claim File. If a "not receive" of your telephone request is sent to you in the face, you must write post with AR seller Your hardware stating your case and justifying the reassembled many other customers are experiencing the same symptoms.

Hello,

have you guys tried the bellow link:

http://welcome.hp.com/country/ca/en/...ne_assist.html ?

it is always better to concern with the provider of your product first before taking any action by you self, hence this can be result in more troubles if you are not technically good.

It may be that the switch which turns on the screen is stuck or even broken. Can you see any kind of text or image when your pc starts? I had the problem with each HP Pavilion dv5-1180eh the solution, power off, remove the battery, etc. worked on dv5-1180eh too.
