HP Photosmart C6280 Installation Error

Hi,

I have recent purchased hp photosmart d5468. When I tried to install it on my windows xp pc, I get the HP Photosmart C6280 Installation Error message, "Fatal Error during installation.The installer has insufficient privileges to modify this file C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\flash9b.ocx." What is the solution for this error ????

Try the following steps to remove HP Photosmart C6280 Installation Error message :

1. Exit the installation ( "Cancel").
2. In the Windows taskbar, right-click the Windows icon (), Then click "Explorer ".
3. In the left pane double click "Local Disk (C: )"Or"C:".
4. In "Name"In the central panel double click"Windows".
5. Double click "System32".
6. Double click "Macromed".
7. Double click "Flash".
8. Find and click on the file "flashutil9b.exe".
9. Click on "Update"For the update.
10. Follow the intructions, and when the update is completed the file "flash9b.ocx"Becomes"flash9d.ocx"In the same folder.

If still your problem is not solved uninstall all the HP programs and then start the fresh installation :

1. In the Windows taskbar, right-click the Windows icon (), Then click "Control Panel"Or"Control Panel".

2. In "Programs"Click"Uninstall program" .

3. In "Name"Click only on those programs in the list below and click on "Uninstall / Edit":

* HP Image Zone
* HP Photo and Imaging Gallery
* HP Photosmart C4280, C4380, C5200, C6200, C7200, C8100 gold (with software version number listed)

4. After removing programs, do not restart the PC (click on "Restart Later"And proceed to the next step.

In the menu bar click on "Organize"And then"Select All". Press the "Delete" or "Delete". Close the window and Install the software from the installation CD.
