Creative SoundBlaster 7.1 Audio Sound card not working

I am having the Assembled computer system at my place and i have purchased this system just two months ago. I have installed the Creative SoundBlaster 7.1 Audio Sound card in this system. But the problem is that this Soundcard is not working with the Computer system after i upgraded the Operating system from the Windows XP to the Windows Vista of this computer system. I am not able to figure out the reason for this issue. Provide me the proper solution for this problem.

Complete the update and reboot the system.
