I am having the computer system which is 3-4 years old now and the speakers of the computer system is not working now, So i am going to buy the new speakers for this computer system. For this purpose i have selected the two speakers of the Altec Lansing but i am very confused in buying any one of this. I have selected the Altec Lansing ADA885 and Altec Lansing ADA890 speakers. So i need the help from some techie guys who can help me out. That is the reason i am asking for the favor for me. Help me out in the selection of the speakers for my computer system.

Now coming to the point, you want to buy the new speakers for this computer system and for that purpose you have already selected the two Altec Lansing speakers but the problem is that you are not able to select anyone of this speakers for the buying for your computer system. I think first of all you should decide that which type of the speakers you want for the computer system. Because one is 2.1 and another is the 5.1 speakers that you have selected.

Before buying you should make the decision that you want the 2.1 or 5.1 channel surround sound speakers for your computer system. Because the speakers that you have selected for your computer systems are 5.1 and 2.1 speakers respectively. Altec Lansing ADA885 is 5.1 and the Altec Lansing ADA890 is the 2.1 speakers. However the decision will be yours but i will recommend you to go fro the Altec Lansing ADA885 5.1 surround sound speakers.

You can buy the Altec Lansing ADA885 5.1 surround sound speakers but before buying this speaker make sure that your computer system supports the 5.1 speakers or not. I think it does not supports 5.1 speakers because this is older computer system. So , if not supported then you will have to buy the Altec Lansing ADA890 speakers. Which is 2.1 speaker system and it is supported by your computer system. If you want to go for the 5.1 speakers then you will have to attach the extra sound card in your computer system which supports the 5.1 channel speakers.
