It mostly depends on the model of the laptop that you are using. any of the model do not have the feasibility through which it will support the connectivity with the HDTV. It is quite possible that the system may not show up the screen that is been connected as it may not support the feature well enough. Check out for the thing that your system should be able to connect the device.

The compatibility is a big and major concern for the same. While connecting a system to a HDTV it is quite necessary and essential that the system should be compatible with the HDTV in order to get connected. You need to check out for the compatible feature of the system. It is quite not possible for the system to load up the device if it do not have the feature for streaming. So check out.

Check out for the Hz resolution on the system screen that has been assigned. It is a problem that may be resulting in not connecting the device with the HDTV. It has been faced by me as the resolution of the system was set too high due to which no signal could be visible on the HDTV. So low down the resolution if it is been set high. This may result in making the things to work perfectly for you.

The HDMI cable may be a concern that it is quite not very well. The portability of the cable may not be well and due to which it is quite very much the issue or the concern that the device is not able to get connected. You need to check out that whether the device or the system is capable to hold on with the cable very well or ts the cable hat is not able to get connect the devices as it may be not proper.

Re: LG Laptop to Sony HDTV connection issues

When the devices are been connected you need to keep tapping the function key of your laptop that is the "Fn" key. It would then lend your system to send signals to the HDTV. This may then allow you to navigate through your system to the HDTV. This is what is possible in order to get worked with the system. Try it out. This should help you in making the things to work in your ways.
