    Different types of data storage

    What are the different types of data storage available. The most basic one is a USB and hard drive. Other that this we can have a optical disc. I need some more information on this. What are this types and what technology is used in this hardware to store data. Which is the most reliable one among them and flexible. What you consider the most to use.

    When the power of the computer is switched off, then the total memory of the content is lost. The hard disk is the storage system which is responsible for the data of the documents, files and the applications. Most of the computer has the capacity up to 40MB.     In the computer you can have the upgrade ability that can led to the many large companies. Now we can believe that no matter that the application may be large or small. Now the size of the hard disk is from 100MB to 1.2GB and the desktop hard drive storage is from the 18GB to the 3.5in platters. As you buy the capacity of high memory the price goes down.

    The different types of data storage are USB Flash Drives, blu ray, Tape Storage, Flash Drives, RAM Sticks, Memory Sticks, Floppy Disks and Other Removable Storage Media. The blu ray it is the optical disc which is format jointly by the developed members of the Blu-ray Disc Association. The object was to enable the recording and to store more data.

    In the above reply you had seen the different types of the data storage out of that one is the portable device. In this device it has the RAM which has a capacity to hold the data for the long time. It is also better for the backup or to transfer the data from one system to the other. THe RAM is also called the solid state RAM it has the capacity that it can remember the state when the power is off.

    In now a days most of the companies use the removable storage devices which is very good for the back up of the hard disks. For this the the best storage system is the Tape. It is even good for the back up and even it is lest cost. Like this the DVD is also one of the data storage system. It is very good for the movies companies.
