Hey there, I have recently upgraded my PC with the Windows 7 operating system and installed the driver of the printer which i am using with the older version of the operating system. I have HP Laserjet 1018 which i am using from the past 1 year. But when i am trying to use the with the Windows 7 then it is not responding. Help me please. A help may be appreciated. Waiting for the reply.

Have you tried the upgrade with the HP Solution Center. If not then upgrade the printer with the same. It will help you to work with the windows 7 and give you the functionality to work faster. And you will have the latest driver of the Laserjet updated. So use it then tell me that it works for you or not. Thanks

I will suggest you to install the latest version of the driver with your printer. Because as it seems that you are using printer from last 1 year so that you have the older version of the driver. Which could be creating the compatibility issue with the Windows 7. So download the latest one and install it in your system. Might be this help to resolve your issue. Thanks

If the above method is not working then i will ask you to remove all your cable and reconnect it properly. It could be possible that your cable got the loos connection with the PC so remove it and then try. But make sure before removing the cable you switched off the power otherwise you might get shock. So be careful and do the same. After reconnecting restart the system and see the change. Thank you
