logitech 5.1 Speakers not working on Laptop

I have recently purchased the Logitech X-530 5.1 Surround sound speakers for my laptop to fully experience the Movies and Music on my laptop. But the problem is that this speakers are not working properly with my iBall laptop. I do not know why this is not working with my laptop.
Give me some ideas or tricks to solve this speaker problem of my laptop.

You have purchased the logitech 5.1 surround sound speakers to fully enjoy the music and movies and the problem is this, the speaker is not functioning properly with your laptop. You are using the iBall laptop but you have not mentioned the model number of your iBall laptop. first of all you should check that your laptop supports the 5.1 speakers or not. If it does not supports than this speaker will not work with your laptop.

If your laptop has the support for 5.1 speakers and then also it is not working with your laptop then this is the problem related with the settings of the speakers and audio devices. First check the jack of the speakers. It is plugged in the right place or not. If this is proper then go in the audio devices from the control panel and select the 5.1 speakers setting for output device. Do the same setting if you are using some software to control your speakers.

If you find that all the settings are proper of your laptop for connecting 5.1 speakers and not working yet then this is the problem of the driver of your sound card of the laptop. Reinstalling the drivers software for sound card can fix this problem. Do the same and check it out. If this not fixes the problem then change the sound card of the laptop. Or take it to the repairing center to repair it. But it is recommended that you should change the sound card rather than repairing it. Because it can create problem in future.
