Acer aspire 5920 battery gets off suddenly

I am using a laptop of Acer aspire 5920 running with windows XP. It is a very good machine, but it has one disadvantage in it. The battery of it is very bad after 6 - 7 months. It is giving only 20 - 25 minutes life after charging. Without the warning the machine gets off when it has the battery meter up 40%. If any body knows any information about the warning before the machine gets off. Send me a post.

For the long life of your battery. You should charge the battery with a proper charger for about 12-14 hour. Use the home charger. See that the area were you are charging the Acer aspire battery the surrounding humidity is suitable for it. It will be unsafe if you are using the high voltage for charging. You should keep a spare battery. Keep the rechargeable battery at cool place. Keep it at a minimum charge of 40%. Keep it safe from short-circuit, it may damage it badly. From the above suggestions you can keep your battery safe and give good care for your daily use.

Re: Acer aspire 5920 battery gets off suddenly

The battery of your new Acer aspire should have a charging and discharging time before you use it regularly. As the user gets the battery in their hands very late from factory. Some time it may be long time. So it is necessary to the buyer to buy a extra battery for the safety use. So that the battery will give you a greater performance and it will have a greater capacity for a long time battery life. You can charge it for two times in a day if you have a spare battery. The energy conversion can result in heat and this heat can be transferred to the battery, if it is over heated. Don't use it at that movement ask for the solution to someone who knows about it.

For the desktop replacement if you are using laptop. Then the battery inside it should not be for a longer time. The battery which you had kept in the laptop will completely discharge it. Before you remove it see that the battery is charged up to 40-50%. Store it in a dry and warm place. Cover it in such a way that nothing should damage it. It should be re-installed from every 2-3 weeks and discharge it fully. Leave the aspire 5920 battery in a laptop. As it use the electrical outlet for more time will keep the battery in a stable state it will help for a long time.
