Problem in getting sound on TV through laptop

Hi Guys,

I have connected TV with my laptop. I have used "VGA cable" for this connection. I am getting very good picture quality with this. But when I tried plug "RCA cable" to my laptop and TV. I am not getting sounds through TV but getting sound from my laptop, which is not expected

Can anybody help me to find solution over this problem?

Hi ,

I have similar problem before few days i.e not getting sound fromTV when connected to laptop. To solve this problem please follow the below instructions:

1. Go to control panel then select sound and hardware option

2. After that select audio and sound device.

3. Then choose audio and finally try to change the default setting till you are not getting sounds from Television.

*. Please make sure that the length of the analogue audio cable is not very long , Because the sound quality getting weaker as the length of the cable increases. I think this might happened with you, and you are not getting sounds from TV.

*. There is possible that your laptop has a connection problem. Have you tried this process using another computer or laptop?

*. There is also possibility of the wrong connection of the audio cable with the laptop or television

I don't have tried the laptop or PC connection with the Television. But according to my information you have to shutdown your laptop while connecting the audio cable with laptop and PC. And repeat the same procedure while removal of the cable.

Please try this trick and let me know if your problem is solved or not.

Hi ,

I suggest you to check the audio cable with other computer so that you can find out whether it was problem in the laptop or the in the audio cable. Also check that you are connecting cable to a correct port, because this may cause problem in getting sounds from Television.
