Logitech x-230 speakers not detected by computer

Hello i have bought the new logitech x-230 speakers three days before. But there is the problem with this speaker , i think so. May be it can be the problem of my computer. The windows shows that Audio device is not available. I think it is the problem of the speakers. What can be the problem possible reason for this error? Reply the solutions for this problem.

You have logitech x-230 speakers , which is 2.1 speaker system from logitech. First of all make sure that you have installed the correct drivers for your sound hardware means sound card. Or you have installed right driver for onboard sound device. If you have installed then check that they are shown in device manager or not. If yes , then there is some problem with your speakers and if not then the problem is with the hardware device or driver. change your sound card.

If the speakers is not working with your system then check it with the other systems. Connect it with the other system and see if it is working or not. If it is not working then the this is the fault of the speakers. and if it is working then there is the driver problem with your system. first reinstall the sound driver and check again. Install the sound driver from the motherboard CD or from the CD which comes with the sound card. You can also download the driver for the sound device from the internet.This will resolve your problem.

If speaker is working fine and you have installed the correct driver for your sound card device. Then check your speakers settings.It is possible that something is wrong with the speakers settings. Make sure that it is connected to the right port in which speaker has to be connected. And also make sure that the volume is not muted. If found so, then make it proper. It is also possible that the windows is unable to detect the sound card. Change your sound card if found any problem like that.
