HP Presario becoming very hot

hi,

I use an HP Compaq Presario V3000, which becomes very very hot after a while. It becomes so hot that I can't even touch the table surface below the laptop. Is this normal?

The heat sink fan or the cooling fan might have been caught with dust. Clean up the fan by using a small air pressure pump. You can add thermal paste to the heat sink in order to prevent it from overheating.
