No sound after i cleaned up motherboard dust

    Hello,

One day i have opened my CPU for checking the fan its making so much noise. Then i saw that there are lots of dust on my Motherboard.
So i planed to clean it up with my Vacuum Cleaner as i am always doing. I cleaned my motherboard properly and closed the cabinet and restarted the CPU.

But now the problem is that i am not getting any kind of sound (i.e Not the window starting sound, game sound, music etc). Now i am worried about my motherboard, is it wrong with my motherboard or some driver.
    Please help.

    Thank you.

    hi,

As i can see you are suffering with no sound issue, did you checked your systems volume? Is your systems volume is muted by any chance?
To check that your system volume is muted or not you have to click on the hidden icon of the volume on the task bar check whether its is muted or volume bar is minimized.
If its not muted the go to the control panel and click on sound and the Audio Devices setting for sound. Change all the setting and restart and try to hear the sound. If its not working then check your speaker volume.

Say thanx if It sort out your problem.....

I doubt that you damaged something inside the motherboard when trying to clean it. Do one thing just start your Computer and do the following :

    1. Right Click on the My Computer Icon.
    2. Go to the Properties.
    3. There you will find lots of tab
    4. Then select the hardware tab
    5. And Click on the Device Manager button inside the hardware tab.
    6. There you will find Sound, video and game controller
    7. And check whether it has a sound driver or not.

Hopefully my replying will solve your issue.

I think you somehow something went wrong with your OS. I got this problem 1 week ago and after doing lots stuff i finally formatted my Computer and reinstall the all driver and my Computer is working with making lots sound
so do the same to resolve your issue.
