This cooling unit provides Cooler Master fan along that has rubber feet so that resonance is often prevented. For fixing to both socket 775, 1156 and 1366 should be made using the supplied bracket .Because opted for direct contact heat pipes are there slits in the bottom of the cooler where it normally is completely smooth. over all good response

    CPU Socket Support: 1366 / 1156 / AM3 / AM2 + / AM2
    Dimensions (length x width x height): 120 x 79.7 x 158.5 mm
    Weight: 626g gram
    Material: Aluminum
    Size of fan: 120 mm
    Fan Speed: 600 - 2000 RPM
Fan Noise: 13 to 32 dBA

You can try Xigmatek Thor's Hammer. This gave seven heat pipes in direct contact principle. Less copper, so a lower price is the indirect benefit of this technology. The immediate advantage of this system, the heat pipes that rapidly transfer heat to take place because they are in direct contact with the cooler. A disadvantage is that the surface is not completely flat and the grooves are evident.

Unfortunately for the Hyper 212 Plus was the cores i7 860 component which was not able to keep cool enough. Keep in mind how far you want to overclock your processor. The processor used by me lent itself to on the 4.4 GHz but only if it was sufficiently cooled. Overclocking with the 212 Plus? Yes, but stop in time to conduct extra volts! the temperatures rose and grabbed the pan from the processor itself by becoming among clocks.

Cooler Master has this Hyper 212 Plus a good budget cooler in hand. On the contrary, if you do not have hard overclocking plans and a normal user and looking for cheaper PC cooler in quiet way Cooler Master Hyper 212 is good for you ..

I had expected 212 Plus performs a lot better than the Intel cooler. The slightly cheaper brother of the 212 Plus, the TX3, performs slightly worse but still not as bad. Because the temperatures were much lower than the original processor .
