enter key stuck! Unable to <enter> and 'choose' bootmenu

i'm running Vista home premium on a Dell Inspiron 1520.
Yestday my <enter>, <del> keys got STUCK!

It will take awhile for a new keyboard.
I'm already using Vista's 'onscreen keybord'.

Question: During bootup, if I need to use <enter> key, how do I do it?
During bootup, i press f12 and get a menu. i can move the highlight
with the arrow key. Now how do i choose?

now while booting your Vista's 'onscreen keybord 'will not work as you not able to use keyboard you can use usb key word as for normal full keyboard have two del option but for Dell Inspiron 1520 i think there no such keyboard available so try with external key board

Have you tried to repair the del and enter key, i mean if its stuck you can try to free it. Otherwise yes the USB keyboard is and option.

Can I "re-assign" the <enter> key in Windows, then retain that value so that even in DOS, those values are not lost but remain?
