    Problem with Intel Matrix Storage

I am under Windows 64, I have only 2 Raptor 150GB raid 0. I have a problem to start with the following info:

Intel Matrix Storage Manager option ROM v6.1.0.1002 ICH8R R wraid 5

    Disk volume information

    Raid 0
    Space 0 strip size 128K normal status 279 *

    Physical Disk
    0 ......... wdc 139.7 GB ** status error Occurred
    1 ......... wdc 139.7 GB ** status error Occurred

    * Sometimes the status is failed and there nothing starts
** Sometimes only one is in error the other is normal
By Ctrl + I, I can delete the raid or do a reset on a physical disk. When the raid is normal, windows works perfectly even with the errors on physical disks!

Is it normal to see separately both the raid and the disks that are, or does well to 4 drives, the raid and 2 others which I could then try a reset?

To minimize bug inch in raid, its better to follow and apply the updated bios on the motherboard.

I did not understand everything in your post, but in general degraded array with an hdd considered problem is a well known problem. Even I had it once. I just solved returning and leaving the raid menu, but once I go back to the array from scratch with data delivery behind - it was on ssd with inability to verify the presence of defective cells in all cases it takes several months that it works seamlessly with the same SSD.

Exactly, it happens after updating bios. What surprises me is that sometimes it works perfectly fine without any problems. How is this possible? Is there any fix?

Personally, with my rampage formula, I saw a real improvement in stability on the raid arrays. It's just info .. now you're just may be the victim of a failed hard drive. You can test your hdd with the tool provided by manufacturer of your hard disk (like Seagate or Western Digital).

If everything is ok, I know no method other than to manually rebuild the array without losing access to data.
