HP Photosmart C6180 unable to print black color

I'm in trouble since several days because of my multifunction printer that does not prints any more black on white paper. Even phenomenon copy. In your opinion, is it a problem of ink dried (I even shake the cartridge that is almost full which was purchased recently), or reset problem? I tried cleaning the print heads, it has not changed. And I can not reset.

Similar problem here. For me, its the red that I is not working. I think its just because of the print heads. I have to inject distilled water inside and will let it to soak overnight today and would see tomorrow what happens. I am even looking to dismantle my C6180 printer to find out the exact problem.

Same problem since few weeks, tried to dismantle the printer and clean but still nothing, can not print in black and white and of course no error messages. I read on some U.S. forum that this printer will not print in B/W if one color cartridge is empty. Indeed I do, but before investing in a cartridge, I want more information regarding this.

This may be due to some kind of connection issues either faulty USB port on your computer/printer or faulty USB cable. This may also be the problem of printer driver issue, either corrupted or missing. The problem may be hardware related also: either the print head assembly had failed, the ink delivery system has failed or the printer has a defective sensor.
