| Sound Card not staying default in Vista Home Premium
Pissing me off!!! Every time I start up my rig, iTunes starts out using the onboard sound driver instead of the PCI sound card. Audacity (an audio editing program) uses the PCI card, and JetAudio uses the onboard again. Even when I set the default in the sound properties to Envy24, It reverts back to the onboard VIA card when I restart it. Help its really pissing me off, i"ve tried everything Any help would be great!!! Thanks ![]() |

The best and easy way to do it is, disable the onboard audio device drivers from Device Manager. Right-Click on My computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager. |
