Difference between Razer Diamondback and ProClick

I wanted to buy a Razer Diamondback but my friend advised me to go for Pro Click. He said they have the same number button, 1600 dpi etc but still the later is better than the previous one. Is this the exact same model? I guess it has the crappy cord. What would you advise me to go for Razer Diamondback or Razer Pro Click?

Re: Difference between Razer Diamondback and ProClick

Diamondback has 1800dpi 3G infrared sensor that enables faster movement speeds of your pointer. It has an On-The-Fly Sensitivity adjustment that allows you to switch sensitivity settings in the midst of a game. On the other side, ProClick has only 1600dpi infrared sensor and almost similar features as that of Diamondback.

Re: Difference between Razer Diamondback and ProClick

Razer ProClick features high speed motion detection where as Razer Diamondback features 3G Infrared Sensor. Other than this there is no unique feature in both of the mouses. Both of them include frame rate over 6400 frames per second, 16 bit data path, 7 independently programmable physical buttons with multiple macros, gold plated USB connector for maximum conductivity etc.

Re: Difference between Razer Diamondback and ProClick

That means Pro click have exactly the same characteristics as the Diamondback, but the only difference seems to have is different drivers and of course dpi. So I think should go for Diamondback, since I wanted to use it on my plasma screen and 1800dpi 3G infrared sensor seems a good solution for my screen.
