Nokia n97 cellphone headphone issue

Recently i had bought a brand new Nokia n97 cellphone. The device is worth every thing and every feature. Now the problem is that its pack of headset doesn't seems compatible with Nokia n97 cellphone. Whenever i try to plugin, it gives out me a list of accessories i.e. TV-out, music stand etc. After selecting the headphones or headset it doesn't work. Can any body tell me that why does my headphone doesn't work on my Nokia n97 cellphone? How can i fix this issue? Any one have any idea about it? Kindly help me out to get rid of the above issue.

Sounds like a software related problem to me. What firmware do you have? Are you running on the latest firmware? All you need for this is a internet connection and a data cable for your phone.

Playing music seems to cause the phone to run much warmer than normal, which leads to the battery dying very quickly. I understand that sending your phone for repair is not always the most convenient option. The strange thing is the phone might not heat up until several hours AFTER you’ve finished playing music, in some kind of delayed reaction.

According to my best of knowledge you should check out the firmware on your Nokia n97 cellphone. If still you can't use your headphone on your Nokia n97 cellphone, then its highly recommended that you take your Nokia n97 cellphone headphone to near by Nokia service center. Or you can even contact you local dealer from where you had purchased Nokia n97 cellphone.
