new build PLEASE help

Hey,

I am working on building a system, I don't know a ton about building a computer but have figured out I can build the same system I would get from Alienware by buying the parts from Tigerdirect and having them build the computer for about $1500 less. Below is what I am planning on building:

intel i7 975 extreme 3.33 quad core

EVGA Geforce GTX 295 video card

EVGA X58 Motherboard

Corsair Core i7 Dominator 6GB PC12800 DDR3 RAM - Tri Channel, 1600MHz, 6144MB (3 x 2048MB), DHX

10000 RPM velociraptor HD 300GB

Vista 64 bit

I really need some help with a few questions please

1. Do these parts all look compatible with eachother? If not what should I replace?

2. what type of power supply do I need? 850?

3. This computer is ONLY for gaming, with that in mind are there any adjmustments you think I should make with the parts I selected?

4. Would this HD be alot faster then the one I selected?

this is a really Cool Config , I am unsure About the other things but You Will be Definately needing the power supply more than 750 watt to handle all those beasts
