Installation of AMBIT Cable modem

I recently got Ambit cable modem, but i don't have an installation disk, can anyone tell me where to download the CD or some other method to install or to enable the modem function to work as receiver and sender in between Internet.

The hardware will be installed first, if modem is not a card plugged into your computer,there should be no need for any setup cd. After installing verify that Flashing light on usb, it indicates that cable modem is transferring data over the USB cable.

Your cable modem allows you to use either the USB or Ethernet port. The cablemodem service requires a "login" program to be run to get your particular connection up and running every time you want to use it.

Ambit Microsystems provide a diverse line of cable modem products. Try to set a system restore point before installing a device driver. This will help if you installed a wrong driver. Problems can arise when your hardware device is too old or not supported any longer.
