please help, crystal eye webcam camera control settings disabled?

Hey, My webcam works fine but in my video capture properties, the first tab (Video Proc Amp) is fine with all settings being able to change, but the second tab (camera control) is all greyed out? do anyone know what's wrong Thankyou

There is the problem due to camera driver go to Acer site and get updated camera driver for you also make sure you have not infected with virus.

For that you need to click on start, then select control panel. Then you need to click on device manager, then you need to click on imaging devices. After that click on Acer crystal eye webcam, this will bring you up the Acer crystal eye webcam properties box. Then you need to go half way down, there is box which will help you to enable the device. Then you need to just follow the instructions all the way through until you get to "finish". Now, your Webcam would be working fine.

Thanks but i've tried those things already and the webcam is enabled, I have the latest driver updated but the camera control is still greyed out

Have you uninstalling the crystal eye webcam camera and then reinstalling it again ?? It had the same problem few days back, I went to my settings and ticked the box that says “allow others to see my webcam”.

I have the same problem!
I cannot figure out how to do it.
I tried to do all of the things you all said but it still won't do it!
My camera is built in my laptop, and if I disable it, it won't go back! :/

My Crystal Eye web shows image only for few seconds and then it shows red blue colors only. Its Camera and Video setting are disabled as posted by user stacey1234. I have tried uninstalling the application and then reinstalling it form the Service and Support. Drivers are updated too.

Please help to fix it.

How old is your webcam? Try the below method:

1 - uninstall drivers and software
2 - Take off plastic trim around lcd (bezel)
3 - disconnect ccd
4 - reboot
5 - reconnect ccd
