Canon MP530 Ink cartridge problem

I have bought a Canon MP530 multifunction printer and I am having alot of Ink cartridge issues with it. If I use the color ink cartridges to print anything then it runs out very quickly and thus it gets empty pretty soon but the black cartridges are full even if I use it in same quantity and according to the manual if I use only black cartridges then the color ones will be also used? So can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem. Thank you

I think that it is either a virus problem or the driver problem of your printer. So first download the driver for your printer from here and make a scan of your pc by malwarebytes by downloading it from here.

Installation instructions for printer:
1. Plug in power cord and turn on printer
2. Install driver and software
3. connect the USB cable when the installation notifies you to
4. After installation completes, reboot pc
5. clean disc, clean temp folders
6. Your done

You can also try to flash your printer cartridge, first turn your printer on and from your computer go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes >right click on your printer icon > click on "Printing Preferences" > in the dialog box, click on "Maintenance" > click on "View Printer Status" > in the dialog box, click on "Options" > then deselect the "Enable Status Monitor" option. You may get a dialog box asking you something (I didn't get one) but just hold the "Resume" button down for more than 5 seconds and all will be well. When you need to check the levels, you can either look at the cartridges physically or enable the status monitor.

Can you tell us what all different cartridges you are using in the printer? Perhaps you have placed the unwanted cartridge in the wrong place, and you need to switch it with one of the others in there. So first try to reset it.
